Are you ready... for in-person classes?!

Course registration for Summer and Fall 2021 starts April 12, but you can start adding your course favorites now! Read this page and these registration instructions for more info about registering for classes.
  1. Get in touch with your advisor to make sure you’re ready for registration or ask questions. If you’re not sure who your advisor is, check in your my.olemiss.edu account.
  2. Check your registration window in myOleMiss and put it on your calendar so you don’t forget! Set an alarm for an hour before so you’re definitely ready.
  3. Look for holds on your records that would keep you from registering. If you have one, contact the office that put the hold on your account to get it cleared.
  4. When your registration window opens, register ASAP so you can get your ideal schedule.

Vax before you pack

Make sure to get your shot before you leave town! If you still need a vaccine, the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine is available on campus next week at the Tad Pad. Make an appointment here for one of these times:

  • Tuesday, Apr. 13, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Apr. 15, 1:30-4:30.p.m.

Which vaccine and when to get it:
Johnson & Johnson: Single-dose and easily the most convenient. Register for an on-campus vaccination appointment here so you can be over any side effects before finals. Sometimes Oxford Rx Pharmacy also has doses of J&J.

Pfizer: Right now is the sweet spot to get a first dose of Pfizer. 21 days from today is April 29, which is after most finals and before graduation, if you do have a day or so of side effects. Kroger Pharmacy in Oxford has recently had Pfizer.

Moderna: If you can get a first dose of Moderna now, you won’t get your second dose until after finals, which means you can just stay in Oxford just a little bit longer!

Every shot counts! You can really make a difference by getting vaccinated and helping everyone get back to the things we love. UM’s vaccination page has more info about off-campus vaccination appointments.
