BISD
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Sakai Families,

It was so wonderful seeing families in our building for conferences. Whether you Zoomed in or came on campus, thank you for your partnership and taking the time out of your busy schedule to have these important meetings. If you are looking for ways to stay engaged at school, please see the volunteer opportunities below.

An enormous THANK YOU to all our families that brought treats for us over conferences And, to our amazing PTO for organizing. We feel very cared for!

As the weather starts to turn more wintry, please remind your students to wear appropriate clothing for heading outside. While we have multiple indoor recess options, students will certainly be outside for break time. Also, if you are looking for fun ways to get outside with your kids during the winter months, I know several of the ski and snowboarding mountains in our area are offering free lift tickets to 5th-graders. There are probably more, but at least Stevens (you need to call them) and Baker (visit site here) offer this service.
Have a great week, Sakai!

SCHOOL PHOTO RETAKES
School photo retakes are scheduled on Thursday, November 10th, at 9:00 am.

If you would like to have your photo retaken, please return your picture packet to the photographer on November 10th and have your photo retaken.
