- I would like to give a shout-out to Logan Muzik at Ginter Park who has graciously stepped in to support staff and students during Gator Growth Academy. Ms. Muzik’s efforts have made this work happen. Thank you, Ms. Muzik! You truly are a rockstar!
- Cardinal Elementary's Susan Shepherd deserves a holler for organizing the reading program with the Flying Squirrels for our students! It is so appreciated!
- Shout-out to Ms. Young, substitute extraordinaire at Cardinal. She has a calm presence, she teaches and engages the kids, and she is kind and professional. Thanks for going above and beyond! We see you!
- Shout-out to Nurse Sam Evans at Southampton Elementary! He is kind, helpful, and communicative to all students and staff. He goes above and beyond to make sure all students are supported, and you can tell the kids really love and trust him. Thank you for all you do for us, Nurse Evans!
- I'd like to send a warm thank you to our community partners – ART 180, Hamilton Glass and Nadd Harvin – for an amazing visit and artist's talk today. Many of our 7th grade scholars at T.C. Boushall Middle School were able to visit the mural "The Journey Forward" by Nadd and Humble, which is part of the Mending Walls mural project. In addition, they were able to hear from Nadd about using their voices to try to make the world a better place and that art is a great vehicle for that voice. We are so grateful for your advocacy with our youth!
- Ms. Shirley Maxwell is a pivotal person in RPS. Even when we think no one is available to sub, she still finds qualified people to fill our learning needs! Thank you, Ms. Maxwell.
- A huge shout-out goes to the SIL at PHSSA, Dr. Kelly, for making the testing process easy. Another shout-out goes to all the teams that support the process. It is not easy, but everyone does their part.
- Thank you to all of the volunteers in RPS. From helping in the cafeteria to bagging items for lessons when teachers ask for help, you are appreciated!
- I would love to give a shout-out to our amazing nurse at Southampton ES, Sam Evans. Mr. Evans is so caring and awesome with the students. He genuinely cares about the students and makes sure that they are properly cared for with every visit to his clinic. The kids love him, as he greets them with waves and fist bumps and high fives in the hall. We, as teachers, love the follow-ups he makes on his patients and his willingness to answer questions and help in all situations. We are super lucky to have him as part of our school family! We love Nurse Evans!
- I would like to recognize and shout-out Ms. Joyce Jefferson, Ms. Cassandra Robinson, Mrs. Carolyn Hewlett, Mrs. Faye Carrington, and Ms. Deborah Walker for being amazing assets to Henry L. Marsh Elementary. It is because of your flexibility, dedication and passion to the job that our staff and scholars are supported daily and cared for.
- Thank you to Ms. York at Linwood Holton ES. Her class is warm and inviting, and my daughter is thriving. Also, her thoughtful communication with parents is exceptional and appreciated!
- Thank you to Ms. DeCamps, third grade teacher at Holton Elementary. My son loves your class and is challenged and learning every day. I can't believe the year has gone by so quickly!
- I would like to shout-out the 8th-grade team at RCMS for showing up and showing out for the Writing SOL! I would like to give a huge shout-out and thanks to Ms. M. Jamison, Ms. Momiroska, Mrs. McClendon, Mr. Alexander, Carla Wood, Ms. Hayes, Mrs. Meekins-Taylor, Ms. Pettiford-Hines, Mr. Siegel, and Mr. Raynor!
- I would like to give a huge shout-out to Mrs. Lopes-Wyche! Thank you for working hard and supporting the staff and students at RCMS. Your dedication is very much appreciated.
- I would like to shout-out Ms. Parker, kindergarten teacher at Barack Obama ES. She does outstanding work with her students and leaves lasting impressions on them! My son was in her class during 2020 and my daughter is her student now and they absolutely adore her. She has so much love for her students! Thank you so much!
- I would like to give a shout-out to Michael Owens of Carver Elementary School. He is a new custodian and has already made a difference. He is cleaning like he cares and is doing an excellent job! Thank you, Mr. Owens.
- I would like to give a shout-out to Charles Spain (acting principal) of Carver Elementary School. He is doing a phenomenal job by addressing behaviors, and even teaching classes. I have seen him address behaviors, be the administrator, and teach classes if he had to. He is respectful, listens, and has been an amazing asset to the school.
- A huge shout-out of appreciation to our audiologist, Dr. Liza Buckingham. Thank you for your dedication in serving RPS students who are identified with hearing loss as well as providing early intervention testing for those with a suspected loss. Your work makes a difference in many students' and families' lives each and every day! Thank you for your service.
- Thank you to the district accreditation team for their dedication to the success of students, staff, and stakeholders at Swansboro Elementary School.
