Eighteenth Sunday After Pentecost Holy Eucharist, 8:30 a.m. & 11 a.m.
This Sunday, join us for Holy Eucharist at either 8:30 or 11 a.m. After communion at each service, the prayer desk will be open in the alcove near the altar rail for anyone who would like to be prayed for. The 8:30 service will be live-streamed and available on-demand later in the morning. Masks are optional and KN95 masks are available for anyone who would like to wear one.
For Families: The nursery will open at 8:15 a.m. for ages 0–3 years, and the 8:30 service will include a children's homily for 3 yrs–6th grade.
In between the services at 10 a.m. formation is offered for all ages, including children and youth.
For Adults
This Sunday, we are back with another St. B’s 101 class about our liturgy. Should I be crossing myself, or bowing? What’s the difference between a simple bow, a solemn bow, and a genuflect? Why is the gospel lesson always read by clergy? What is a stoup? Join our Head Verger and Asst. to the Rector for Liturgy, Beverly Mahan to learn why we do what we do during the liturgy. She will talk through each component of the Holy Eucharist.
Rev. Serena class, Simon Peter: Flawed & Faithful Disciple continues in Wallace Hall, as well.

THEOLOGY ON TAP
ToT is back tomorrow, October 6 with our own Chris Hornsby leading a conversation on Jesus, Creation, & Justice. Come early at 6:15 p.m. for a walk around the campus before the sunset. Drinks are at 6:30 and program starts at 7 p.m. The topic of creation and nature and how do we care for it has been buzzing for a while now but what does it have to do with us as Christians? Come join ToT (Theology on Tap) in the St. B’s garden for beverages and theological reflection about Jesus, nature, and the environment. Learn more about Chris and this ToT here. For questions about Theology on Tap, email Matt Chambers-Rhea at rheamr@gmail.com.

| Over the next several weeks, we'll be highlighting some of the ways St. B's has impacted the lives of people in our church family, including Beth Heimburger.
My husband and I came to St. B’s from a non-liturgical church in December 2009. In conversation at St. B’s I got to know a woman who told me about opportunities for Spiritual Direction in town. I had never heard of Spiritual Direction and was intrigued. Read more of Beth's story >>>here.
