For Immediate Release
December 13,
2018
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Independent pop recording artist, Roger Jaeger, has joined a group of talented performers to donate his musicianship to appear on the Christmas album titled A SANTA CAUSE (To Florida With Love). The Nashville recording project (produced by Ryan Poole who donated his time and the use of his Music Row recording studio—The Hideout) highlights performances by 11 local independent artists (Matt McAndrew, Carmen Brandy, Dawson Hollow, Ryan Steele and more) who donated his/her time and voice to this dedicated project. Spearheaded by Lelo Creative Management, the creative work was assembled with the goal to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Michael. The Hideout will roll out a series of tracks over the coming weeks throughout the season; Jaeger’s moving rendition of “Joy To The World” is scheduled to be released TODAY, Thursday, December 13, 2018 via most major digital outlets (Amazon/Apple Music/Spotify).
Inspired by his admiration for the Indian culture, Jaeger’s tender and thoughtful performance of the timeless, Christmas classic (“Joy To The World”) features unique sitar instrumentation rarely heard on holiday tunes.
“There are holiday tunes that celebrate the joy of the season, and there are spiritual hymns that recall the reason,” said Jaeger. “I wanted to produce ‘Joy To The World’ as a spiritual movement for the listener--to create an ambience of PEACE, LOVE and JOY.”
Streaming subscribers will receive the series of songs featured on A SANTA CAUSE (To Florida With Love) at no charge. Contributions to this effort will be welcomed and can be made to the dedicated PayPal account (bit.ly/ASantaCause). All of the proceeds will go toward providing toys to victims and their families, as well as to various local charities supporting hurricane relief efforts in Panama City and Panama City Beach, Florida.
This celebrative release keeps the momentum of Jaeger’s promising music career. He introduced his third, and latest album, FALL OFF THE EARTH in November 2018; the CD boasts 11 Roger Jaeger originals spotlighting his sitar performances throughout.

ABOUT ROGER JAEGER:
Tulsa-born, Roger Jaeger made his first trip to India in 2005. Enamored by the welcoming and nourishing culture, and captivated by its music, the Oklahoma native made India his second home where he honed his writing and music production craft, and learned to play sitar proficiently. Roger developed a strong devotion and passion for India, its native people and the arts. Settling in, he became a teacher at The University of The Nations in Lonavala, India where he teaches “Songwriting 101” one or two times annually. Rejuvenated by the life experience and foreign education, he released the album BEACON as a re-entry into the U.S. indie music arena in 2013.
Two years later, Roger followed with his sophomore album titled START OVER (Nov. 2015).  His music has since been featured on major television networks including Discovery, MTV and NASCAR to name a few. With musical influences ranging from One Republic and The Fray, to Jimmy Eat World and Coldplay, Jaeger melds his spin of contemporary indie pop music with traditional Indian string and pedal tones borrowing from mysterious, meditative and beautiful compositions traditional to Indian music. His abstract writing and contemplative lyrics bridge together heart-wrenching desperation and mythical ideologies while subtly revealing the songwriter’s gentle and thoughtful character. Jaeger’s adventurous and fervid spirit is woven throughout his music, most notably in the release of his third album FALL OFF THE EARTH (Nov. 2018). Calm, cool and collected yet, willing to take the leap to “the other side,” Roger Jaeger is the perfect contradiction.
