We started our individual outreach to new students inviting you for 1:1 chats to talk about preparing for Stanford. Advising Video: Resources for Choosing Courses

Hello from your friendly Academic Advisors! Our third Advising Video is ready to share with you: Resources for Choosing Courses. While our second video was designed to help you start exploring your interests, our third video showcases useful online resources for exploring courses, courses for pre-med students, placement tests and diagnostics, and how to start exploring majors and major requirements.

Next week's e-newsletter will be dedicated to academic advising, including some of the many resources that Stanford has to help you get the most out of your undergraduate experience. We'll also open up a Q&A board in Canvas to begin responding to your academic questions. On August 14, courses that will be offered in 2023-24 will be listed in Explore Courses, Stanford's online course catalog. And on August 21 for frosh, your assigned advisor will reach out to you to begin the advising conversation. In preparation, we encourage you to watch all the videos in our advising introductory series:
