Berry Best: Artist management, publishing and record comany 1916 Enterprises has opened an office and studio in Nashville's Berry Hill at 648 West Iris Drive. The company also recently expanded its publishing roster with the joint signing (with Anomoly Music) of Nashville-based producer David Kerchkoff, and added Nashville-based producers Nick Bailey and Kevin Bard to its management roster in partnership with Ozone Entertainment.

Festive All: Due to unprecedented rainfall across Alabama this past week, the City of Decatur and organizers of Rock the South have postponed the festival from June 11-13 to Oct. 1-4. All three headliners remain on the lineup: Zach Top (10/1), Jason Aldean (10/2) and Riley Green (10/4). The festival will also expand to four days with previously announced perfomer Jessie Murph headlining Oct. 3 at no additional ticketholder cost. Most of the other scheduled artists will still perform on the revised dates, with festival organizers planning to announce the updated lineup in the coming weeks. Tickets here. |

Special Delivery: MCA is offering a 60-minute radio special in support of Keith Urban's Flow State album, releasing June 12. Bits & Pieces: KUZZ/Bakersfield afternoon host Kenn McCloud has published a book, “365 Dad Jokes," featuring the jokes he's told daily on his show over the last eight years. Proceeds will benefit the Kern County Cancer Foundation’s Pediatric Mobile Angel Unit, which provides rides and gas cards for families of children undergoing treatment and appointments outside of Bakersfield. A life-sized Dierks Bentley hologram is now greeting visitors at Nashville International Airport. Promoting Bentley's Row 94 whiskey, the hologram will be operational in the airport's A/B rotunda through July 31. It's the second airport location for the hologram, which debuted last September at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky, where Row 94 is made.
