The Julia Green PTO Spring Party & Auction has been rescheduled for Friday, May 12, from 7:00-10:00 pm. We hope you will be able to join us!

More details will be coming soon, including ticket options if you still need to purchase or if you’re no longer able to attend.

Auction: Hornet Flash Sale!

While the Spring Party & Auction has been moved to Friday, May 12, we've decided to do something WILD! We created a special edition HORNET FLASH SALE that everyone will be buzzing about!

We will open online bidding for the HORNET FLASH SALE for a select number of "hot ticket items" on Wednesday, April 19 at 8 am. The bidding link will be sent via email and through social media. The bidding window will close for these items at 9:30pm on Friday, April 21.

**Bidding for the full Spring Auction will still be live the week of the Spring Party. Trust us, you won't want to miss it!**

Gather on the Green: Dinner Pre-Order

Please bring your picnic blankets to "Gather on the Green" following the Hornet Hustle race and enjoy dinner with your fellow Julia Green families. Jimmy John’s is offering boxed dinners at a great price. Pre-order now HERE and your dinner will be ready for pick up at Julia Green that evening!

The spring budget process to determine funding allocations for the 2023-24 school year has been delayed in order to give ample time for the PTO board and school administration to better assess the needs of our school in light of the recent tragedy at The Covenant School. The new dates are:

2023 Spring Budget Cycle Dates

Friday, May 12 at 5:00 pm - Deadline for spring budget requests to be submitted
Tuesday, May 16 at 5:30 pm - Finance Committee Meeting #1 – Requests are presented and discussed
Tuesday, May 23 at 5:30 pm - Finance Committee Meeting #2 – Voting

Important Reminders
- Each request must include the following information:
Explanation of how the request will be utilized, the grade levels benefited, and a description of how JG students will benefit from the request
Explanation of how the request fits with the mission of the PTO
Documentation of the cost or detailed quote from the vendor

- The person submitting the request must be in attendance at the finance committee meetings to present their request and to answer any questions. If the individual cannot be in attendance, they may identify a substitute to present on their behalf.
