Frequently Asked Questions
When are the exams?
The IB exams are scheduled from April 29th to May 20th. Copies of the exam schedule will be posted to teachers' Schoology classes. A copy will be available on Inglemoor's IB web page soon.
Does my student have to test?
If your student is a diploma candidate, then yes. If your student is not a diploma student then the answer is “it depends." We urge you to watch the informational video.
Who can register for exams?
Seniors and Juniors
Can sophomores take IB Exams?
My student has an IEP/504
Students requesting extended time for tests should have an IEP or a 504 on file with the school. These plans should allow for extended time. These plans must be supported with medical documentation. If your student is seeking testing accommodations, please indicate so on the Google Form. The IB Coordinators will submit requests with supporting documentation to the IBO. This needs to be done by November 1st.
Financial Assistance for IB Exams
Students who qualify for free and reduced lunch are eligible to receive financial assistance for exam fees. Students should contact the IB Coordinators or their Counselors for more information.
How will we know if our student registered for the right exam/s?
During the first two weeks of November, the IB Coordinators will distribute lists of registered students' teachers. Students should check to make sure their names are on the lists. Parents can contact an IB Coordinator to confirm their student’s exam registration information as well.
What if my student opts not to take an exam?
If a student contacts us before January 10th, we can refund exam fees. No refunds are available after January 10th.

Veterans Day Assembly
This year we are seeking faculty, parent, and family participation for our Veterans Day activities. We are planning an online assembly honoring each generation of service members and veterans. We humbly ask two things: First, we will be putting together a slideshow of photographs of service members. If there is a veteran or currently serving military member in your family you would like to honor, please send a photograph with name and approximate dates of service to https://firstname.lastname@example.org. And second, we are looking for a few speakers to talk about what the military and life as a veteran is like who have served anytime from World War II to the present. If you or someone you know might be willing to speak for 5-10 minutes on video recording about your or their experience in the military, please reach out to Elisabeth Kowalski (email@example.com).
Many students and families have reached out to us about purchasing ASB cards. Currently, ASB cards can only be purchased for students who are involved in a club that is attending conferences or competing. ASB card fees will be assessed to individual student accounts as the club member names are provided to us from the advisors. This year, cards will be broken up into semester 1 and semester 2. Each semester will have a $30 ASB card. This means that if a club or activity only competes during one semester the student will only be charged $30 for the semester that their club or activity is competing in.
This formula will also be applied to sports when they begin as well.
As we enter different stages in the Northshore Learning Model Status, ASB cards may be available for purchase by all students. We will continue to update you as we enter new stages.
Clubs and Common Interest Groups:
Club & Common Interest Group meetings are starting! All Vikings are encouraged and welcome to join any of our 40+ student organizations. Here is the full list of IHS student organizations meeting times & days: 2020-2021 Club Info. Students, don't worry if you missed any information sessions, you can watch Club Information Session Recordings by signing in with your student email and contact advisors with questions.
You are also welcome to form your own club or Common Interest Group! Just follow the steps outlined on the ASB Website.
For any questions around ASB cards, activities or clubs please contact Elisabeth Kowalski firstname.lastname@example.org

Every year, the Scandia Yearbook Staff at Inglemoor High School offers the parents of seniors an opportunity to purchase personal ads for their student(s). It is a special way to congratulate your senior and send them a personal message from not only you, but also grandparents and close friends.
Reserve Senior Ad space for your senior student(s) in the yearbook today. Ads are on sale now for the lowest price of the school year. See all the details on the flyer here or on our website here.
There are 64 dedicated pages meaning SPACE IS LIMITED! Because of this, we will be operating on a first-come, first-serve basis. The final deadline to purchase ads is Sunday, January 31st. However, if you submit your message, photos and payment before November 30 all ads are sold for discounted prices (prices vary based on size). General Members meeting. Our next PTSA General Meeting is Thursday, November 19th at 7:00PM, via Zoom. The Zoom link will be posted on the PTSA Calendar page on Nov. 19th.
Reflections is still on!
Art is not cancelled! 😊 Fortunately, creativity is still possible in 2020 and the Reflections Program is still happening, and will be virtual.
PTSA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program to encourage artistic creativity. Students of all grades and abilities may participate by submitting original pieces of work in 6 categories: Dance, Musical Composition, Visual Arts, Film, Literature and Photography.
Students create a work of art and write a short artist statement. Judging is based on both the artwork and artist statement. Students artwork will be judged at the Local Council level, and may continue on to the State level, and even the National PTA level. Regardless of where a student places, our PTA will celebrate any student artist who submits a piece of art for Reflections.
Students create an artwork inspired by this year’s very fitting theme - “I matter because…”
