SUU Enrollment Growth
SUU Enrollment Growth at 8.2%, Outpacing Other Universities in the State of Utah
Our student population now sits at 13,611, a new record for our alma mater. We also grew at a faster rate than every other degree-granting public university in the state. The bulk of our growth came from a 42% increase in our online degree programs, which represents nearly 16% of our student body. Our commitment to high quality, affordable online degrees gives students from across the world the opportunity to study at SUU.

Marie Osmond in Concert December 1
Entertainment icon Marie Osmond will spread the holiday spirit as she launches her A Symphonic Christmas tour here at SUU on Wednesday, December 1, at 7:30 p.m. inside the America First Event Center. SUU Included on Washington Monthly's Student Voting Honor Roll
Each year Washington Monthly releases an honor roll listing the colleges doing the most to turn their students into politically engaged citizens. This year, SUU was listed as one of the best colleges for student voting. We were one of only three universities in Utah listed on the Honor Roll, alongside Weber State and the University of Utah.

John L. Evans Golf Center
Plans Announced for New Golf Center
SUU Golf and Cedar City announced plans to build the John L. Evans Golf Center at Cedar Ridge Golf Course. The two-story, 5,000 square-foot structure will provide locker rooms, office space, a covered driving range and putting green area, as well as banquet and event space. It will also be home to the Jonathan L. Christy Golf Simulator, a state-of-the-art simulator allowing our teams to train during the winter months while providing them access to analytics about their swings.

Alumni Legacy Scholarship
Alumni Legacy Scholarship for Out-of-State Students
Out-of-state students whose parents or grandparents are SUU alumni have the opportunity to qualify for the Alumni Legacy Scholarship, which awards in-state tuition. This alumni benefit is a great way to continue your family's legacy at SUU and is made possible through Utah House Bill 364. Priority deadline is March 1, 2022.
