CMC Recycling is fully committed to the health and safety of our employees and their families as well as our customers and vendors during this unprecedented global pandemic of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
CMC Recycling operates in the Critical Manufacturing Sector, one of the sixteen Critical Infrastructure Sectors identified by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as critical to the security, economic security and public health and safety of the United States. At this time, CMC Recycling is continuing to maintain normal hours of operation while respecting orders issued by the federal, state, and local authorities, as well as guidance from the Centers for Disease Control.
During this time, we have implemented the following precautionary measures:
If you have personally traveled, or had physical contact with a person known to have traveled to a country listed as a CDC High Risk Area, or been in close or direct contact with someone who was diagnosed with COVID-19 virus, or are currently experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or influenza in the last 14 days, for the safety of our employees and other customers, please stay home.
We have enhanced our cleaning, sanitization, and visitor screening procedures at CMC Recycling facilities nationwide.
We have suspended employee assisted manual unloading to respect social distancing.
