At Last, It's 2022

Happy new year and welcome back to school! We hope you had a nice and relaxing break and are excited and looking forward to the spring semester. A new year means a new beginning and a fresh start–cheers to making spring 2022 your best semester yet.

January Key Dates and Deadlines

Keep going to class, whether that's in person and/or online;
Business advisors are seeing students virtually via walk-in/same-day visits through Jan. 21. Call our front desk at 405-974-2325 to see your advisor. Regularly scheduled appointments are planned to resume Jan. 24;
Verify semester dates and deadlines for your courses;
Apply for scholarships. The 2022-23 scholarship portal opens Tuesday, Jan. 18 and closes at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11;
Bachelor's students should apply for spring 2022 graduation no later than Friday, May 6. Late fees are now applied;
Taking an online business course? Schedule your exams for the entire semester via the College of Business Testing Center (free) or through ProctorU (charges apply);
Interested in excelling in school, planning for your future career and learning how to "adult?" Check out our virtual Student Success Center Workshops;
Visit with our business career consultant for help with summer internship searches; and,
Save the Date: Master's students, apply for spring/summer 2022 graduation by Tuesday, Feb. 15. Bachelor's students, apply for summer 2022 graduation starting Tuesday, Feb. 1. Apply for the semester in which you are scheduled to finish all your coursework; spring/summer graduates participate in the May 2022 graduation ceremony.

Apply for Scholarships

The scholarship application process for the 2022-23 academic year opens Tuesday, Jan. 18. Scholarships are available to current UCO students who will be enrolled in the fall 2022 and spring 2023 semesters.

The portal matches undergraduate and graduate students to qualifying scholarship opportunities. There are scholarships available based on grades, talent, personal stories, creativity and more. Students are encouraged to complete the UCO qualifying scholarship application that allows them to be matched with scholarships for which they may be eligible. Students can select scholarships they want to apply for and submit all required materials through the portal.

The application deadline is 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2022.
