More Information about Regalia
  • All regalia will be mailed to the university bookstore. We will provide you with the staging area and hours of distribution closer to graduation.  Due to the timing of receiving regalia, cap and gown supplies cannot be mailed to you beforehand.

  • There is no additional charge for these supplies. The graduation fee covers your cap, gown, hood (if applicable), and tassel. The only exception is doctoral students, whose regalia is rental only and must be returned at the conclusion of the ceremony. All students are required to pay the graduation fee, even if you do not attend the ceremony. This is a university requirement, per the bulletin, and the graduation staff doesn’t have the authority to supersede that policy.  There is a fee associated with requests to mail your cap & gown.

  • Graduate-level students: We will provide your hood colors to the supplier. It will be listed on the sign-off sheet when you pick up your regalia so the person distributing regalia gives you the correct color.

  • Stoles are not covered by the graduation fee. If you are in an organization you’d like to represent with a stole at commencement, you are responsible for ordering those.

  • Latin Honor (and University Honor/Honor Program) cords are provided by the university. These are only provided to first-time bachelor degree students who meet the requirements stipulated in the bulletin. It is not based solely on overall GPA. When you pick up your regalia, you will be informed of your eligibility and instructed to visit the Office of the Registrar to obtain your cords. You can also refer to the Latin Honors eligibility webpage for any additional Information.
If you are interested in purchasing your doctoral regalia, stoles, invitations, class rings, etc., please contact Brown’s Graduation Supplies at 870-932-4832 (ext. 10) or email sales@brownsgrad.com. (You are not required to purchase these items directly from Brown’s. They are our local Herff-Jones supplier, but there are many companies online where you may purchase your desired items. We have many students ask about “official” invitations, but in the age of the internet, we understand some students prefer a more personalized invitation.)

Please be certain you continue to check your student email regularly and review the graduation website regularly so you don’t miss any deadlines or updates.
Wolves Up!
