PERSONAL TRAINING: DID YOU KNOW?
New members receive two free orientations with the Fitness Team, to be used in a variety of ways based on your specific goals and needs. These orientations can be assessments, goal setting, programming, machinery orientations, etc. We want to ensure that every member is confident and successful in reaching your goals. NEW ZONE INTRODUCTORY SESSIONS

Offered 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the Month, 6:30am and 7:30pm

Starting this month, new members to the ZONE are asked to attend one ZONE JumpStart class. JumpStart is the perfect transition class to provide you the skills needed to participate in ZONE training confidently and get the most out of every session!

JumpStart classes are offered on the 1st and 3rd weeks of every month on Tuesdays at 6:30am and 7:30pm.

ZONE SCHEDULE UPDATES
Community Classes Every Saturday at 10am
Several ZONE session times and dates have been updated, so be sure to check the latest schedule online before heading to the studio.

Also, join us on Saturdays at 10am and bring a friend! This Community ZONE Demo class is designed for current ZONE members and first-timers to experience the ZONE.

NEW CLASS: CYCLING WITH RICK
Complimentary to members

Join Rick for a new cycling class that includes climbing, rolling hills, and fun downhills that emulate outdoor road and mountain bike rides. Set to music that will stimulate and exhilarate you while providing a workout that you can customize to your own fitness level. No previous cycling experience is necessary.

Mondays & Fridays: 6am-6:50am

“I have not wanted to join a gym until I discovered Active. I watched the facility being built as I drove by daily on my way to and from work. All the amenities are wonderful and I feel this is where I belong. The staff is great, it’s clean and the environment has a great vibe. Being active and staying healthy is my ultimate goal. My husband is a member now and I’m thrilled to have him as my side coach. I can’t wait to see what the future holds at Active and hope everyone is successful!

TEAM SPOTLIGHT:
Simone, Group Fitness Instructor

Meet Simone, a cycling and aqua aerobics instructor here at Active. Simone shares that her journey began with humble beginnings in Long Beach, California teaching High Impact Aerobics during the eighties fitness craze. Simone has also worked as a Personal Trainer while attending Graduate School and Playing water polo on the USA Women's National Team. She now has 30+ years in the Fitness Industry and loves teaching beginners and seniors.

In her spare time Simone enjoys refereeing water polo, body boarding and Epee fencing. She competes in National Fencing Competitions and will be heading to National Events in February, April and July.

She continues to enjoy teaching and coaching with the focus on FUN! You will find her leading classes at the pool and in the Cycle studio. Come say "hi" to Simone the next time you are at the club!

SAVE THE DATE: PARENTS' NIGHT OUT
Friday, February 17th, 5pm-8pm

Bring your kids to enjoy a fun night at the club while you enjoy a night out! We invite kids to join us for fun crafts, active playtime, and a movie starting at 5:30pm. Pizza and refreshments will be provided. The kid-friendly movie begins at 5:30pm, and parents are encouraged to send preferred items for children to sit/lay on such as a sleeping bag, blanket or pillow. This event does not require parents to be on-site.

The cost is $7/child; free for Kids Club members. Advance reservations are required no later than 2/15, and can be made in person, by phone (971-571-5327) or email: reeds.kidsclub@activewellnesscenter.com.

FRIENDLY REMINDERS:

Pool & Sauna Etiquette
Please remember to shower/rinse off before entering the pools, as well as when returning to the pool from the restroom or sauna. Please also rinse off prior to entering the sauna and wear the appropriate attire (a towel or bathing suit) when enjoying the sauna.
