Dear #RPSStrong Family,
Happy Friday! Tonight's updates:
| |
| Calendar Reminder – All RPS schools and offices will be closed Monday, November 7, for a student and staff Wellness Day. RPS schools will be closed for students only on Tuesday, November 8, for caregiver/teacher conferences. View the 2022-23 calendar to see all upcoming holidays.
| |
| COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic – Haven't gotten your COVID-19 vaccine yet? Come out to Woodville ES on Wednesday, November 9, from 3 - 6 pm. VDH will have Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and boosters for everyone 3-years-old and up. Be sure to complete this registration form beforehand.
| |
| College Application Week – Check out all the ways our high school students and staff showed up for Virginia College Application Week! Big shout-out to the staff who sported swag from their alma maters and to the hundreds of students who visited their school's Future Center and spoke to a GRASP Advisor!
| |
| Honoring the Memory Fund – Before closing out tonight, just a reminder that our "Honoring the Memory Fund" is always accepting donations to support families following the loss of a child. Through the RPS Education Foundation, the fund helps families with funeral costs, co-pays for mental health support, and any expenses incurred for taking time off work to grieve. Just be sure to select "Honoring the Memory Fund" in the designation pull-down menu. Thank you.

| With great appreciation,
Jason
