UCSBGlobal IS NOW LIVE!
Hello International Gauchos!
The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) is excited to announce the official launch of UCSBGlobal...right now!
Thank you for being so patient while our office was closed last week (February 1 - 5, 2021.) We were hard at work implementing the transition to our brand new platform. We are back open and ready to serve you!
Because this is a new platform and system, we thank you in advance for your continued patience as we continue to work out any issues. Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any trouble accessing the system.
Please keep reading to find out what has changed, why, and some video tutorials and instructions to help you get started.
WHAT IS UCSBGlobal?
We're glad you asked!✨ It's our new online platform for International Gauchos to use when submitting, reviewing, and tracking requests made to OISS.
What is an OISS request? In the past, requests to OISS were made by downloading OISS Forms and emailing them to OISS for approval. (Requests = anything that must be processed and/or approved by an OISS advisor.) This process has changed. Starting today, all requests will be submitted online using e-forms on UCSBGlobal!
Why did OISS make this change? UCSBGlobal will revolutionize the way you interact with our office, and simplify life for everyone! Starting today, you no longer have to email paper/PDF request forms to the OISS office. Instead, you'll simply log into UCSBGlobal with your UCSB Net ID and submit e-form requests online. This can be done from anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are confident that you will love this new system!
Here are some instructions and video tutorials to help you get started:
