Job Description:
Vascular and Endovascular Associates, a multi-physician vascular surgery clinic, has immediate openings for part-time and full-time positions for hard-working medical assistants in Troy or Southfield. As a medical assistant, you are responsible for verifying and entering patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR) system, recording vital signs, triaging patient phone calls, assisting physicians in minor procedures, and changing dressings. A good attitude, critical thinking, and professionalism is a must. Prior experience with EPIC EMR is preferred, but not mandatory. Prior medical assisting experience is required. A commitment of at least 1 year is needed. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. We are not open on weekends or holidays. No on-call shifts.
