(Nashville, TN. – April 14, 2021) – Americana/Bluegrass/Red Dirt Country Entertainer Jimmy Bowen is excited to return to the airwaves this spring with season two of Jimmy Bowen & Friends, a live TV music series. The show hosted by Bowen consists of thirteen half-hour episodes featuring Bowen performing live with his band and a featured guest artist each week. "I am thrilled to be back for season two. 'Jimmy Bowen & Friends' is the music variety TV show I always dreamed of hosting and with the outstanding team we have assembled, and the super-talented guests we have lined up, I know we will continue to expand our viewership with each and every season. Jimmy Bowen & Friends is syndicated nationwide and was produced by award-winning production company CJM Productions who’s shows are broadcast in over 200 million homes in the USA as well as the UK and New Zealand. The show was filmed live at Ridenour Rehearsal Studios, a local favorite in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and the star-studded line-up includes multiple award-winning artists Jason Crabb, Becky Bullard, Lewis Brice, Rockland Road, Brady Seals, Frank Ray, Nosey Flynn, Deborah Allen, Linda Davis, Larry Stephenson Band, Nu-Blu and T. Graham Brown.

ABOUT JIMMY BOWEN
Jimmy Bowen is a highly acclaimed musician, singer, and songwriter. He is from Charlotte, N.C., and became involved in music by the time he was 5 years old. Bowen has been creating music for over 3 decades and has toured internationally with some of the most well-known names in Bluegrass music including Charlie Waller and the Country Gentlemen, and David Parmley and the Continental Divide. He has had the opportunity to share the stage with country legends including Earl Thomas Conley, Eddie Raven, John Conley, Josh Turner, Little Jimmy Dickens, and Mel Tillis, and has even had the privilege to perform at the White House for President, George W. Bush, Sr. and at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. In October of 2019, Bowen was inducted into the National Traditional Country Music Association’s America’s Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame. Another passion of Bowen’s is acting. He has been cast for various television series, dramas, and commercials all while working with some of the biggest names in TV including Michael Rooker, (Days of Thunder), Adam Arkin (Chicago Hope), John Hawkes (The Perfect Storm with George Clooney), and Mary Steenburgen (Philadelphia). Bowen was also a featured actor in Toby Keith’s “Hope on the Rocks” video, and in the drama-filled ABC- TV hit series Nashville.
Bowen’s current single, "Red Line" is working its way up the Texas Country charts. His last single,
“Second Hand Smoke,” hit #35 on the Texas Country charts. Both songs can be found through all streaming platforms and digital outlets including Spotify, Apple, iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play. He just finished up recording new music that is scheduled to be released later this month and has been busy with personal appearances to promote his music and TV show.
