Greetings from the University Staff Advisory Council!

November Meeting Highlights

The theme of our meeting this month was WELLNESS.
  • Stephanie Dean, Work/Life Connections EAP, shared tips to manage stress throughout the holiday season in our ever-changing world.  A few helpful tips include talking about plans before the holiday, being realistic in your expectations of yourself and others and treating yourself kindly.
  • Michael West, Associate Athletic Director, Ticket Operations, spoke on how to score Commodore tickets, including season ticket discounts for Vanderbilt staff.
  • Alyssa Aloyo, Program Manager for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, updated USAC on Employee Affinity Groups (EAGs), which can help foster a positive work environment and community.  There are eight current EAGs with three new ones being established over the coming weeks and months.  View a complete list online.

November 17, 2021, at 9:30 a.m.

Have you registered for our November Virtual Coffee Break?
The coffee break is open to all staff members and provides a short 20-minute breather during the workday for a little face-to-face interaction.  As many are transitioning to a hybrid work schedule, the discussion topic will be "Returning to Campus".  Join the Zoom and chat!  For security purposes, registration is required.
