This shout is for none other than Ms. Mariama Stewart of Patrick Henry School of Science and Arts. Ms. Stewart is the administration assistant for our school and she has, without being overwhelmed, given of her talents to assist her team on so many levels. She has with sincere effort assisted her team when they needed her the most – even if it meant adding to her already loaded agenda. We are grateful for her participation with our Reopening with Love!
Kudos to the Language Instruction Educational Program (LIEP) and Special Educational Teams for organizing the In-Person Program at Miles Jones Elementary School. Extra special appreciation to the marvelous Miles Jones administrative staff, led by Principal Sonya Shaw, the custodians, and cafeteria staff for providing for the LIEP Program's needs. The Miles Jones staff demonstrated the true meaning of welcoming someone to their home. Thank you for making everyone feel comfortable. Shout out to the Axiom facilitators, tutors, and Mrs. Erica for providing for our students' every need. Thank you for your compassion and dedication toward our students. You all made our job easy. Special thanks to the parents for entrusting their children with us. Most of all, thank you to the students for showing up every day ready to learn. We cannot close out without thanking the Richmond Public Schools bus drivers. You all gave 100% plus. We appreciate you all working with us to make sure the students arrived on time and returned safely.
