Below Are Opportunities For The Epstein School Community To Aid Those Impacted By Hurricane Harvey:

  1. Houston Relief Awareness Dress Down Day: The Epstein School will be having a school-wide awareness and dress down day on Tuesday, September 5th to help those in need in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. All students who bring tzedakah (gift cards preferred and cash accepted) on September 5th can dress down on that day. We have been reaching out to our sister schools in Houston and we will be helping by directly supplying materials and support to them. The two most effective ways to help are via gift cards and/or donating directly to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund set up by Jewish Federations of North America. If your child is in Elementary School or ECP, they can give the donation to their teacher. If your child is in Middle School, they can give the donation to their homeroom teacher or Middle School Office. We will be sending gift card collected via dress down day and donations made at our front desk to day schools in Houston. Please purchase gift cards from: Target, Kroger, Home Depot, Best Buy, Walmart, Visa, and American Express.

  2. Direct cash donations can be made through the Federation at this link.

  3. Direct gifts to our sister school- Beth Yeshurun Day School.

  4. Pet reliefWe have also learned of some special pet items that are needed and pet relocation/transport needs that you can help with.

We will keep updating this list as opportunities arise.

Thank you for supporting our sister communities in Houston!
