Bryan Harrison Named as Chief Membership
Development Officer of Shriners International
Shriners International is pleased and proud to announce the hiring of the Chief Membership Development Officer of Shriners International. Bryan Harrison will join Shriners International on April 6, 2020 as the leader of the Membership staff.
Harrison is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) with 17 years of experience in successful membership management. He is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).
He joins us following 8 years of employment as Director, Councils & Networks of the Specialty Equipment Market Association. He has gained first-hand knowledge of working with and through volunteers by serving in leadership positions at several non-profit organizations, including the Tennessee Society of Association Executives, where he received the Association Executive of the Year Award in 2019.
An outstanding communicator, Harrison recently received a faculty position with the Institute of Organization Management (IOM) an intensive professional development for chamber and association executives that is operated by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Harrison brings extensive knowledge obtained through formal training and successful experience in association and non-profit entities. His experience and skill sets, which includes strategic planning, component relations and motivational speaking, will lead our organization in setting the vision and direction for membership growth and engagement.
