Ascend Amphitheater | Thursday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m.
The iconic singer-songwriter, activist and music innovator Neil Young has plenty of Nashville ties, the most notable being that the majority of his classic 1972 album Harvest was recorded here. When Young took Promise of the Real, the backing band on his 2015 release, The Monsanto Years, on the road with him last year, concertgoers were treated to unpredictable and thrilling three-hour plus shows. Fans can expect nothing less when Young, with special guest Steve Earle (an inspired opening act choice if there ever was one), visits the barely-a-year-old Ascend Amphitheater on the Cumberland Riverfront.
Ascend Amphitheater | Thursday, April 28-Saturday, April 30

Firmly a phenomenon in their home country of Iceland, the four-piece band Kaleo descended upon foreign shores in 2015, bringing its gorgeous blend of folk, blues, country, and rock to a wider mainstream audience in America. Now, signed to Atlantic Records in the US, Kaleo calls Austin, TX home.

City Winery | Saturday, April 30 at 8:00 p.m.

Sponsored by Donate Life Vanderbilt, Songs for Life returns to City Winery for its 3rd-annual concert fundraiser. The foundation is dedicated to raising awareness for organ donation, and proceeds from the event will go towards building a permanent memorial dedicated to organ donors and recipients in Nashville. Emerson Hart is best known as the lead singer and songwriter of the band Tonic. Tonic’s first release, Lemon Parade, was a multi-platinum success, featuring the hit songs, “Open Up Your Eyes” and “If You Could Only See,” which became radio’s most played rock song in 1997. Alyssa Bonagua won Canadian songwriter of the year and song of the year awards for the song "I Only Smoke When I Drink" by the Small Town Pistols. She co-wrote Jessie James Decker's Billboard top 40 country single "Lights Down Low" and "Circles" on Warner Brother's country artist Jana Kramer's newest album "Thirty One."
Nashville Children's Theater | Through May 15

A hit on Broadway, A Year With Frog And Toad was nominated for three Tony Awards – including Best Musical. Based on Arnold Lobel’s well-loved books and featuring a hummable score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical musical follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four, fun-filled seasons. The jazzy, upbeat score bubbles with melody and wit, making A Year With Frog and Toad an inventive, exuberant, and enchanting musical for the whole family.
