The Lake Marion Golf Club Patriot Golf Day Tournament has become one of the largest in the state and continues to grow each year. This year, 3 separate shotgun events took place over 2 days, with 348 players and 100+ staff members and volunteers taking part in the event. The VFW helped serve food and Kiwanis members assisted with parking. Raffles, fees, auctions and more than 100 hole sign sponsors donated to the cause resulting in over $19,000 in donations. This brings our total Folds of Honor Foundation donations since 2007 to more than $93,000. While this amount pales in comparison to what our service men and women are giving and have given to us, it is our honor to grow the event and try to give even more.
