Dear Friend,
As we prepare to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Harbor Springs History Museum later this week, we reflect on the remarkable ways our museum has grown thanks to friends like you.
Since opening our doors in December 2008, the museum has brought Harbor Springs area history to life by...
  • Hosting 11 temporary exhibits ranging from Great Lakes ships and Anishnaabek art to the extinction of the passenger pigeon
  • Providing a permanent home to collect and protect artifacts that connect us to our community's past
  • Welcoming over 6,000 guests to 92 lectures as part of our Harbor History Talks
  • Offering free educational tours and classes for children
  • Creating public events and programs, like Shay Days and Blessing of the Fleet, which have reached thousands of people in our community.
In these ways and many more, we connect people and community; we connect past, present and future. As a private nonprofit, we rely entirely on the generosity of friends like you. Please help us continue this important work by making a gift to the Harbor Springs Area Historical Society today! Now is the time to join us as we celebrate the museum's tenth anniversary and build exciting plans for the future. Thank you for believing in our mission to bring history to life in Harbor Springs.
