Apply for a Salute to Excellence award through the Center for Nonprofit Management by April 14, 2017.

About $250,000 will be awarded in 13 different categories. The Healing Trust has two award categories: 
Catalyst for Change Award: recognizes organizations that show boldness in expanding access to care, especially for vulnerable populations in Middle Tennessee, through systems change advocacy
Compassionate Care Award: recognizes a nonprofit where love and compassion characterize not only its delivery of service to those in need, but also in the ways team members care for and support each other

First Aid Arts is hosting its Healing Arts Toolkit Program Training in Nashville. First Aid Arts equips trauma care providers, community workers and volunteers with arts-based tools and training. Its three-day Healing Arts Toolkit Program training focuses on traumatic stress, the healing power of the arts, and explores the use of the arts for self-care.

Q2 2017 full proposals are due April 19, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.

Q3 2017 preliminary applications to The Trust are due June 21, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.

I Spy Eligibility: Spotting Potential Medicaid Eligibility 
The Tennessee Justice Center is hosting a webinar on the basics of TennCare (Medicaid) eligibility.

Participants will learn how to identify potential Medicaid eligibility for uninsured people in Tennessee. 

The webinar will occur on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 2:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.
