Dear Friends of the Digestive Health Foundation:
First and foremost, we hope you and your families are safe and well.
While we all find ourselves in uncertain times with the current Coronavirus pandemic, the importance of medical research and education has never been more vital.
Despite the challenges of fundraising this past year, DHF continues its efforts to fight a spectrum of digestive disorders, from colon and pancreatic cancers to Crohn’s disease and swallowing disorders.
2020 also highlighted the outcry for greater equality in all areas of society, including access to medical care and education. To continue expanding our efforts in this area, DHF has created the DHF MCAT Prep Program to support underrepresented students as they apply for medical school, as well as the Elizabeth Blackwell Fund for independent female GI researchers.
We hope you will consider joining us as we strive to find more effective treatments and cures, so that patients and their families have a better outlook for the future. The research must and does continue. Your support this year is more important than ever!
