Black Sheep Label Welcomes Cliff Dorsey To The Roster
Nashville, TN (September 1, 2021) – Black Sheep Label is pleased to announce the signing of singer/songwriter Cliff Dorsey to an exclusive recording deal.

Florida native Dorsey bought his first guitar when he was fifteen and soon began performing songs at church like Josh Turner’s “Long Black Train,” which showed off his rich baritone vocals.  He soon began playing shows around his hometown of High Springs, FL and eventually released his first album 321, which yielded the fan favorite “If Whiskey Was A Woman.” In the Fall of 2020 he released another collection, “Hurricane Blues,” featuring the aptly-titled tune “Honky Tonk Dream,” a rolling, retro-tinged track about the ups and downs of chasing the troubadour’s dream. The hardworking young singer has a voice tailor-made for country that belies his years and his neo-traditional sound is sure to find plenty of fans of all ages.

“We are so honored to have the opportunity to sign Cliff Dorsey and welcome him to the Black Sheep family,” said Susan Hobbs Ortiz, CEO Black Sheep Label. “His deep, rich traditional sound will bring you back to the roots of Country music.”

Dorsey is currently working on new music set for his Black Sheep debut release later this year.
