Hello friends of Young Life Adventures!
Thank you for praying!  I am eager to report that we have GREAT news about how God is at work here in the lives of our guests, and about how He is answering your specific prayers!
* We have a mountain bike permit!  Praise God!  We have had two successful mountain bike days at Nisene Marks, and will bike two more weeks there.  But starting in July, we now have a new location to bike... beautiful Wilder Ranch State Park, north of Santa Cruz.  We were able to obtain a permit to take our campers there, and have already planned out three different potential routes to take campers on, depending on their biking ability (sometimes we have campers that we get to teach how to ride a bike when they are here!)  We are SO thankful for how God provided!
* Our first two weeks of camp have been amazing!  We loved last week's guests and the diversity of kids we got to host.  Our Capernaum friends touched us with the wonderful things they would share during club, and our campers from Salinas and Arizona were a blast to be with.  This week we have our largest number of campers ever, with 3/4 of them being guys--and very active, energetic, go-for-it guys too!  Keep praying for safety for them as we finish out the week together with these kids from Memphis, TN and Livermore, CA.  These campers have jumped in with both feet on all the adventures, and are digging into life with Jesus and one another too.
At the end of each week, our campers fill out an evaulation of their time at camp.  Here's a few of the sweet things they shared about their time at Young Life Adventures:
“This week God taught me how to love myself and He told me that I am not alone.” - Brianna
“I would say that for every adventure we had, there was a cool story about God that had to do with it.” - Angelica
“This week God made me realize that I’ve been trying to figure out my situations at home on my own. It was like I’m trying to solve a puzzle that had missing pieces, but the missing piece is God.” -Julianna

“This week God opened my eyes about sacrifice and how it’s not just always about me” - Deja

“During club on the last day I felt that I need to make a lifestyle change and give more of myself to God and to live a life for him” - Kenzie

“I’m going to try to be without my phone more.” -Noelle

“Follow that Jesus-centered star and really know who Jesus is.” -Conrad

“I felt God answer my questions and I have been quiet and realized the importance of being still, so I can listen.” -Angel

Thank you for praying!
