Nadia Kolundzija's -
Breathing In Breathing Out
A Little Anthology of
Piano Music 1914-2014

Nadia Kolundzija is a legendary Serbian pianist known for her eclectic concert programming and for her performances of Contemporary music.   Her Little Anthology is a personal selection of piano music about which she notes "I followed from one clue to the next, compelled to the chase in a gloriously never-ending process."  As the works in the anthology programmed themselves, Nada became involved in the practice of conscious breathing.  "Not only is breathing," she says, "inseparable from life, but also from the performance of a piece of music.
Breathing In Breathing Out is not, as this track listing reveals,  a conventional recorded recital.  It is one that is full of new musical experiences, many of which do not present  themselves until you actually listen.  The Three CD set comes with a paperback book with introductions to Nada Kolundzija's exciting project, and, to the actual music, many of which are written by the composers, giving the set an extra dimension.
There are two ways into Breathing In Breathing Out - A Little Anthology of Piano Music 1914 -2014.  As a hard copy Three CD set, complete with the paperback book.  The discs are not available individually.  The book is only available as part of the Three disc set.  Each disc is also available as an individual volume that can be downloaded - as tracks or complete volumes - from all the usual online musicstores world-wide.  (Click on the cover images and the blue icon to activate players with 30 second sound clips and links to online musicstores.)
Note: For contractural reasons the pieces by David Lang, Meredith Monk and Philip Glass are not available to download or stream.
