2014 August Election Results
On August 7, results were announced for the August 2014 contested judicial races. You can see the full list of election results reported by the Tennessee Secretary of State's office.                                                 

Early Voting Sets Record for August Elections
This year’s early voting for an August election set the record for largest statewide turnout. More than 550,000 people cast their ballots before the August 2nd deadline. Several counties in Middle Tennessee, including Davidson and Williamson counties, also set early voting records.  See vote totals from every county on the Secretary of State's website.
Swearing-In Ceremonies Across the State
During the last week of August, several swearing-in ceremonies took place installing new judges and other court officer positions as well as recognizing retiring court and judicial officials. The events involved candidates elected for the first time and those beginning new terms. The Tennessee Bar Association has the complete list
Metro Employee Softball Tournament
Circuit Court Clerk employees participated in the Metro Employee Softball Tournament held August 26-28. Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time representing us in the tournament and to everyone who came out and supported our team.
