Pick Your [On-Trend] Prints!
In my last email I showed you Pantone’s colors for the season. There are definitely some interesting colors trending this season! I am seeing Mustard Yellow everywhere and this is definitely a color only a few can wear so you may have to get creative this season. The most important thing to remember is to find a color in the shade and tone that is best for YOUR coloring! If you don’t know what your Color Code is, now is a good time to grab some friends and let’s have a style party!
Let’s talk prints! Animal prints are very big for fall and winter and I LOVE them! Did you know an animal print can act as a good neutral? Leopard print is going to be better for the SOFTS, WARMS and DEEPS and zebra prints are going to be better for the Lights, Cools, and Clears. One of my favorite prints I am seeing so much of this season is Snakeskin!
You will also be seeing a lot of florals with dark backgrounds, patchwork, plaid and another of my favorites - houndstooth!
