MEET OLIVIA ROLLER
A Spanish teacher at Hunters Lane High School. Olivia shops at the LP PENCIL Box (LPPB) every semester to stock her classroom.

“I came from a district in Georgia and didn’t have this kind of support,” Roller said. “It’s amazing that our community cares enough to offer these resources for us.”

The annual LP PENCIL Box School Supply Drive took place on Sunday, September 16. Fans who attended the Tennessee Titans game donated $7,852 worth of school supplies to the LP PENCIL Box!

PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY - OCTOBER 24
Principal for a Day is an exclusive, invitation-only event that offers the opportunity for PENCIL Partners, donors, business and community leaders to spend the morning with a Metro principal.

As a Principal for a Day, you will meet the school's students and staff throughout the morning in a series of activities unique to each school. The day concludes with a luncheon for principals and their guests. We want our city's leaders to see the great things happening within our schools as we work to change the dialogue about public education in Nashville.

Those who support PENCIL at the $500 and above giving level receive priority access to this event.

DISCOVER MNPS: FALL EVENTS
Discover MNPS, a true behind-the-scenes tour, highlights the transformational work happening within schools across Nashville. During Discover MNPS guests have the opportunity to meet students, tour the school and hear from successful PENCIL Partners during the PENCIL Panel. This fall, there will be two events taking place: 
Discover MNPS: Maplewood High School
Discover MNPS: Hunters Lane High School

We hope you will join us for one of the fall Discover events to witness the great things happening within our schools as we work to change the dialogue about public education in Nashville.
