How does student loan debt impact graduates over time?
Dr. Arielle Kuperberg, a professor of Sociology and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, seeks to find out, thanks to a $360,228 grant she received from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
She and her colleague have been following students’ experiences with college debt since 2016, through a combination of extensive survey data and in-person interviews with a cohort of students from both UNCG and Rutgers University–Camden.
