Skilled student artists Mallory Roa and David Dugonecevic spent last semester studying art, architecture and literature in Rome with Professors Ed Giardina (Fine Arts) and Kathryn Sonne (Language Arts). In addition to our recent Schools.com ranking as the State's third (out of 112 total) best community college in California for the sum of our student success metrics, we have recently ranked third for our transfer and graduation rates as well (EdSmart). Artists on Edge On View: Sep 10th - Oct 8th
Chat w/Curator Matt Gleason, Sep 29th, 1:30pm
A group show of contemporary art curated by Matt Gleason. The exhibit centers on the work and influence of the late Chris Burden who passed away earlier this year at the age of 69. Gleason posits that Burden's penchant for finding the edge of every medium he touched was where his greatest influence occurred. On display will be historic works by Burden and nine contemporary artists. more
