PENCIL IS MOVING!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of long time PENCIL Partner, the Rogers Group, for the first time in 35 years all of PENCIL will coexist under one roof. The new warehouse space will serve as PENCIL headquarters and includes a brand new LP PENCIL Box teacher store.

The warehouse is already being used to accept school supply donations for the LP PENCIL Box and has significantly impacted the Box's ability to get more supplies into the hands of Metro Nashville Public School teachers.

As a matter of fact, during just one week in January, the LP PENCIL Box staff were able to distribute more than $230,000 in school supplies to 427 teachers from 108 different schools. What a week!

INTRODUCING PENCIL ME IN: PENCIL'S NEW COMMUNITY INVESTMENT TRACKING TOOL

It's finally here! Newly launched just last month, PENCIL is excited to announce our NEW volunteer tracking tool - PENCIL Me In.

PENCIL Me In will be used to track volunteer hours for PENCIL Partners, Reading Clinic tutors and all others who are investing their time and talents into Metro Nashville Public Schools.

This new tool will give us a greater ability to more accurately track all of the great work that is happening in Metro Schools. Register today and begin logging your hours.
