(Nashville, Tenn. – Oct. 29, 2021) – Singer-songwriter, brother-and-sister duo Juna N Joey just released a new, heartfelt ballad titled “’Til Your Heart Breaks.” Produced by Kenny Royster (Luke Combs, “Hurricane”), the track is available today on all platforms. To stream the track, click here.
With the release of “’Til Your Heart Breaks,” Juna N Joey put their own fresh, contemporary spin on a classic country theme – heartache. The track tells the story of a narrator enduring his first heartbreak and feeling the crushing emotions that accompany the experience of losing someone. Written alongside Kaylianne Lowe and Doug Lowe, the duo describes the pain of a relationship falling apart with lyrics such as, “‘Til your heart breaks / You can’t see the reason for a good cry / You don’t know the pain of a goodbye / And you wonder why everyone hates heartache / Until your heart breaks.”
Juna N Joey shared the inspiration behind the song, explaining, “Although we have never experienced this level of real heartbreak, we wanted to write a power ballad. Kenny Royster and the experienced musicians on this track really knew how to interpret our acoustic version into a recording that we are so excited to release. We hope that people find this song to be true and relatable - love is definitely one of the most important themes in country music!”
2021 has brought major growth for the duo. “’Til Your Heart Breaks” comes on the heels of the duo’s previous single, “Something Good To Miss,” an upbeat, hopeful tune that allowed Juna N Joey to define their signature pop-country sound. In addition to releasing new music, Juna N Joey recently embarked on an AEG tour across the pond, opening for BMG UK artist Twinnie at various venues across the UK and performing on select dates at various Caffé Nero locations.
Originally from West Palm Beach, FL and now Nashville recording artists, Juna N Joey have organically developed a robust and loyal following after posting covers on YouTube, earning over 7 million collective views. Additionally, the duo has amassed over 11 million views and 1.5 million likes on TikTok. Between opportunities with DreamworksTV, Nickelodeon’s “America’s Most Musical Family,” interest from “America's Got Talent,” and a tour with “American Idol” alum Cade Foehner, to say they have remained busy in recent years is an understatement.
Their sound is described as pop-country, and Juna cites Kelsea Ballerini, Runaway June, and Lady A as influences while Joey has been inspired by Dan + Shay and Luke Combs, among others.
