(Nashville, TN. - October 8, 2020) - LuckySky Music is excited to announce the grand opening of their dynamic new music group consisting of a record label and publishing company. Jason Engelman, CEO, and successful real estate entrepreneur has tapped WarnerWorks music industry veteran, Bill Warner, to serve as President of the label group. They plan to build this multi-faceted business on integrity and a reputation for excellence in signing the best musical talent.
Jason Engelman is the CEO of Freaky Fast Home Buyers and Investments LLC., a rapidly growing company with properties in Georgia, Ohio, and currently moving into other markets. He is also the founder of Revolution 13, a ministry outreach to public schools, focusing on helping students recover from bullying, depression, and suicide. “One of my passions is to encourage and teach youth how to find purpose and true success,” Engelman shared.
LuckySky Music came to fruition when Engelman, with his other love and passion for music, had the vision to open a record label and publishing company in Nashville. “It has been my dream to have a company involved in different aspects of the entertainment industry,” Engelman added.
The first two signings include Tori Martin as the flagship artist to the label and songwriter Bill DiLuigi as the first signing to the publishing division.
Tori Martin has already achieved success on the Texas Country Music Charts. She was a contestant on Season 14 of American Idol and already has an impressive list of credits to her name. In March, Martin released her current single, “What Would Dolly Do?” which has garnered over 50,000 streams, currently resides at #18 on the Texas Regional Radio Chart, and is being released to country radio across the U.S. and Canada. It is the first single from her new LuckySky Music album Lucky and has already exceeded 90,000 streams. The album, produced by Bill Warner, perfectly reflects Martin as an artist, showcasing her rich and impeccable vocals. It is a compilation of hand-picked songs, all of which Martin co-wrote with Nashville’s top songwriters, and includes a personal blend of modern-traditional and pop-country style. Lucky is currently available through all streaming platforms and digital retailers. Bill Warner commented, “We're extremely excited about the release of 'Lucky.' It showcases Tori's depth both as a singer and songwriter. It's always a thrill to work with an artist that brings a huge creative spark to a performance. I'm very proud to have 'Lucky' as our first label release. I also want to acknowledge the creative contributions from Nashville's amazing talent pool of musicians, singers, and of course, Tori's co-writers.”
Bill DiLuigi is a singer/songwriter who emerged from the eclectic Philadelphia music scene. DiLuigi is a staple to the Nashville songwriting community with over 300 cuts to his credit and songs in Billboard’s Americana Top 100 and on MusicRow’s charts. DiLuigi’s songs have received placements in major films and on TV including Good Morning America, CBS Daytime, Hart of Dixie, The Tonight Show, and Access Hollywood. He’s also had cuts with multi-platinum rockers Blessid Union of Souls, The Lost Trailers, Richie McDonald (Lonestar), and most recently, a #1 Gospel song “Grateful,” by Chris Golden (The Goldens/Oak Ridge Boys). DiLuigi has two cuts coming out on LuckySky Music, “Show Me Your Smile” (Blessid Union of Souls), and “Father’s Daughter” (Johnny Lee/Sony). "Bill D is one of the hardest working songwriters in Nashville and I'm honored to have him as part of the LuckySky family," added Kirsti Manna, VP/Creative Director of Publishing.
Bill Warner is a successful producer, recording engineer, and musician. His passion for recording began in his father’s studio in Youngstown, Ohio. He also studied composition and arranging at Youngstown State University. After college, he moved to Nashville and landed a position at Reba McEntire's Starstruck Publishing company which he transitioned into a busy freelance engineer schedule working at dozens of Nashville's top recording studios. He has engineering credits with artists including Michael W. Smith, Western Flyer, Dolly Parton, The Gaither Vocal Band, Blackhawk, Mindy Smith, along with production credits with The Ryan Michaels Band, and the pop group, iCande. Other credits include mixer on "The Rust-eze Song" from the Pixar film "Cars,” "Cotton Eyed Joe" from the motion picture "Cowgirls and Angels," and Cowboy Troy with"I Play Chicken With The Train" for the video game, The Sims 2.
The LuckySky Music offices are located in the Rutledge Hill area of downtown Nashville in a
historic building known as the original firehouse.
