Dr. Shiri Gur-Cohen Receives Prestigious V Foundation Grant |
Congratulations to Shiri Gur-Cohen, PhD, who has received a prestigious grant from the V Foundation for Cancer Research, with support from the Michael Toshio Cure for Cancer Foundation, for her groundbreaking work on drug-resistant cancers.
Dr. Gur-Cohen's study, "Decoding Stem Cell-Niche Dependencies in Driving Tumor Evolution and Therapy Resistance," elucidates how tumor cells interact with lymphatic vessels to resist therapy and aims to prevent cancer relapse by targeting these supportive networks.
