Dear Alumni,
We are so pleased to let you know that for the first time ever, Endicott College is celebrating Pride Month. Pride Month traditionally takes place in June, but college campuses have started to celebrate Pride in April so students can be honored, appreciated, and have a chance to participate while they are on campus.
We gathered to plant flags in the academic quad, spelling out the word PRIDE, and celebrated with ice cream sandwiches. The weather cooperated and it was a great community event. One student who identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community said it was their best day at Endicott yet. They said that they felt included and recognized.
That is what it is all about: belonging, feeling included, being seen and known for who you are. That is why celebrating Pride is important. We also had an evening with the transgender author, Alex Gino, a Pride Ice Cream Social, and Drag Bingo.
We are proud to be part of this vibrant community, and we thank you for all you do to support an inclusive, welcoming campus.

Sincerely,
Rev. Dr. Gail Cantor Director of Belonging & Spiritual Life
