Milton Expands Conservation Efforts in the District |
The City of Milton is taking a significant step toward preserving its rural charm by enhancing its conservation efforts at Birmingham Park. At a recent City Council meeting, officials unanimously approved a plan to designate over 100 acres of the park's 200-acre footprint for permanent conservation. This decision aligns with Milton’s Comprehensive Plan and the community’s commitment to protect green space.
The move confirms Birmingham Park’s future as a natural sanctuary, protecting large portions that will remain untouched by development. True North 400 applauds Milton’s forward-thinking leadership and continued investment in initiatives that protect the natural environment of our region.
