Art+Science Exhibit by Beth Appleton
Beginning October 23, ANERR will host an exhibit by nationally acclaimed artist Beth Appleton. Appleton's Art+Science exhibit will be on display at the Eastpoint ANERR visitor center from October 23, 2015 through Februay 23, 2016. There will be an opening reception on Friday, October 23. | Florida Seafood Festival Nov. 6-7
The 52nd Annual Florida Seafood Festival kicks off in Apalachicola November 6-7. Heralded as the State’s oldest maritime event, this annual fall classic is a celebration of the Franklin County commercial seafood industry. The Florida Seafood Festival promises to feature delicious seafood, arts and crafts exhibits, seafood related events and musical entertainment including recording artists Tyler Farr and Jason Crab. Autos and Oysters Car Show November 14
Apalachicola Main Street will host an Autos and Oysters Car Show on November 13-14. The event will showcase the cars of local collectors and will also attract enthusiasts from throughout the region. Antique and classic Porsche, Triumph, MG, Alfa Romeo, Rolls Royce, Mustang, Camaro, and Mopar models, among others, will be on display. The event will feature a sock hop on the City Docks on Friday night featuring local refreshments, music, and oysters.

Love oysters? Don't miss the 12th annual Downtown Oyster Roast on November 6, from 6-9 pm in Apalachicola. This event, sponsored by the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce, will feature roasted oysters, oysters on the half shell, creamy artichoke, oyster and thyme soup, fresh local shrimp, blue crabs, salad greens and fantastic desserts. SGI Full Moon ClimbFall Schedule
The October Full Moon Climb at the Cape St. George Lighthouse on St. George Island will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. The Sunset/Full Moon Climb will take place from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will include light hors d'oeuvres and a sparkling cider toast to the full moon.

| Paddling Trip
October 24
Join the Apalachicola Riverkeepers on their monthly paddling trip on Saturday, October 24. October's trip will be the upper river from Chattahoochee to Bristol. In November, the trip will be on the lower river around Fort Gadsden. The trips are free to members and $30 for non-members. Come experience this remarkable river system. Experienced volunteer guides lead these fun eco-educational trips.
