TIPQC Project Selection

by Patti Scott, DNP, APN, NNP-BC, C-NPT
Each year at our annual meeting, attendees have the opportunity to nominate maternal and infant projects for the coming year, followed by a popular vote. This year's top nominees are:
Maternal Projects
Opiate Use Disorder, Reduction of Primary C-Section Rates, and
Hypertension
Infant Projects
Improving Developmental Outcomes in the NICU, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, and Discharge Resources for Nutritional Support
Over the next few months, the TIPQC operations team will research these topics to determine their feasibility as a quality improvement project and to determine available resources.  The Project Committee will vote on the official projects for 2019 later this year.

Thanks to everyone for their participation in this process.  It is never too early to start thinking about your project nominations for the 2019 Annual Meeting!
