Downtown Tucson had a tremendous year on the road to recovery.

With new businesses, new housing options and new hotels, downtown experienced positive momentum in 2021 with more to come in the new year.

Taco Bell NYE Downtown Bowl Bash

A Taco Drop and a firework show from the Hotel Congress rooftop will officially ring in the New Year! The Taco Bell NYE Downtown Bowl Bash presented by the Arizona Bowl is open to guests of all ages and there is no ticket required to attend on Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. There will be food vendors and beer, live entertainment, and more. Tucson Jazz Festival

Jazz in January returns to Tucson with the annual Tucson Jazz Festival, Jan. 14-23 at all your favorite Downtown Tucson music venues! Performances from Diane Reeves, Jon Batiste, Lee Ritenour & Dave Grusin and many more. The FREE Downtown Jazz Fiesta, featuring Kendrick Scott is on MLK Jr. Day, Jan. 17.

Building a Downtown Tucson for Everyone Grant Program Now Accepting Applications

Funds are now available through a new grant program, Building a Downtown Tucson for Everyone, made possible through the Downtown Tucson Partnership's (DTP) Social Justice Committee.

DTP's Social Justice Committee will review and award grants to community lectures, programs, and events presented in Downtown Tucson. These programs will demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and reach communities not traditionally served by DTP.
