It was Christmas Eve, a night when Robert Elliott should have been snug inside his home with his wife Ileen, trimming a tree and perhaps wrapping that last surprise gift.

In 2021, the “Clemson 8” Challenge was created to honor the six Clemson POWs who survived the Bataan Death March in 1942. Today, the Challenge honors all of Clemson's 28 known POWs from all wars. Your participation will continue to honor these men.

Melissa Hullett is proud to celebrate 20 years as a school psychologist in 2026, but she’s just as happy to reap the rewards she has received for the three years she has spent as a doctoral student at Clemson University.
