Now Underway: Stone Avenue Complete Street
The City of Tucson has begun the Stone Avenue Complete Streets Project, starting with the section between Alameda and Pennington Streets, as part of the Better Streets | Safe Streets initiative (Prop 411). A key feature of this project is a two-way protected bike lane, separated from traffic by raised medians that incorporate Green Stormwater Infrastructure and native plants, funded by the City's Storm to Shade program.
