USDA Community Connect Grant Project is Complete!
STC hosted a ribbon cutting in rural Riverside in early August to celebrate the completion of our USDA Community Connect Grant project — the first of its kind awarded in the state of Iowa. We appreciate all who provided letters of support to secure the grant funding, which provided access to fiber-optic broadband services to over 120 rural homes. Special thanks to our amazing hosts for this special event! |

Keep an Eye Out for Phishing Scams
Phishing scammers use cleverly written messages that often appear authentic to lure people into giving them private data or entering personal information on a website they've set up. For example, they might send you an email pretending to be your credit card company and redirect you to a fake website resembling the actual one. If you provide your credit card details or other personal data, they can use that information to withdraw funds and commit identity theft. You should never respond to an unsolicited request for personal information, even if it purports to be from your financial institution.
