Vaccination Events at the Student Union

Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will both be available at these events. Advance sign up using the below links is encouraged, however walk-ins are also welcome.

Justice Advocacy Fellowship

Are you passionate about social justice? Apply to the new cohort-based fellowship opportunity through the Tanner Center for Human Rights. If selected, you could earn credit for participating in a two-semester internship with a social justice organization and engage in direct advocacy in areas such as healthcare, immigration, education, and climate. This fellowship also includes a $3,000 stipend. 
The deadline to apply is January 3.

Marriott Library Technology Checkout 

Did you know that the Marriott Library has various devices and accessories you can checkout and use, free of charge? You can borrow MacBooks and Windows laptops for up to 120 days, iPad Pros for up to 7 days, various dongles and accessories, cameras, and even a T-Mobile mobile hotspot if you don't have access to a stable internet connection!
You can checkout equipment at the Knowledge Commons desk on Level 2 during open Library hours; alternatively, you can also submit a request in advance for pickup at the Level 1 Library Information Desk or for home delivery.

How Covid Unraveled Our World and How to Rebuild It

Join the Economics ambassadors for a panel discussion to reflect on the intense first phase of the crisis, to think about the current state of affairs, and to envision full recovery. 
As a prompt for discussion, consider the Wall Street Journal documentary, The Month Coronavirus Unraveled American Business. Watch it prior to the panel discussion on the Wall Street Journal's website, or alternatively on YouTube.

Major Changing Workshop
November 17 | 5-6PM
The Major Changing workshop is geared toward students who may be farther into their overall degree but have realized they might not be in the right fit, or who want to add something extra to their degree. It’s great for transfer students as well! We’ll discuss concerns around extending your time at the U and how to incorporate skills from previous classes.
