Staying Healthy in a Changing Environment

At New Jersey City University (NJCU), the health and safety of each student, faculty and staff member is first and foremost a priority on campus.

All NJCU students, faculty and staff will be required to take a COVID-19 focused training module. NJCU has a longstanding partnership with EverFi in providing critical training to our student population and also to faculty and staff members. EverFi’s newest course is entitled “Staying Healthy in a Changing Environment”.

This course will provide students, faculty and staff with information about the COVID-19 virus, how to manage your emotional well-being during this time, how to safely return to the campus community, and how to successfully work remotely in this changing environment.

Students will receive information via their NJCU email from the Dean of Students Office about the training by the second week of September.

The Human Resources Office will provide directions to faculty and staff via an email notification regarding the online training program. All full-time faculty and staff are required to complete this training.

We will continue to work together and remain proactive to ensure a safe environment conducive to working and learning for all members of our community. Each of us has an integral role in stopping the spread of COVID-19 and reducing the impact of this virus on our campus community. We’re all in this together.

Thank You and Stay Safe!
