Announcing the Fifth Northeast District Biennial Convention

The Fifth Northeast District Convention will begin with dinner on Thursday, November 3, 2016. Our theme is "Kol Isha – Voices In Harmony."
We have fabulous workshops available for you! READ THE WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS and then make your workshop choices when you register for convention.
Hotel reservations must be made separately.
Join us! Meet with women of the Northeast District to learn, share, listen, pray, and celebrate together. Connect with friends and make new friends.

*  Thursday evening opening plenary featuring Gloria Glanz, a Hidden Child and Holocaust survivor

Cantor Claire Franco

Scholar-in-residence Cantor Claire Franco will lead us in services and also share her expertise in several workshops. In addition to serving as the cantor of The Community Synagogue in Port Washington, N.Y., she is vice resident of Placement, Continuing Education and Conventions for the American Conference of Cantors, and a past president of the Alumni Association of the Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music.

WRJ VP Sherri Feuer

Sherri Feuer is the current WRJ Vice President of Affiliate Services. She is a Temple Israel Sisterhood past president, as well as a past president of Temple Israel in Minneapolis, Minn. She is also a past president of the WRJ Midwest District. She is married to Larry Feuer and has two children, Elyse and Aaron z”l.

Bring your favorite PJs with you – or better yet, buy ours! Northeast District T-shirts and flannel pajama bottoms will be on sale along with some other items. We will gather in the suites for wine and cheese.

Choir members!
You mist sign up in advance to participate in the Northeast District Choir, which will be led by Cantor Franco.
The choir will meet for rehearsal on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Workshop Series II timeslot).
Music will be sent ahead of time.
No walk-ins will be permitted!
